The accolades of the young exceptional pianist carry her along like a wave full of praise and acknowledgement. Piano miracle, new star on the piano horizon, young key lion are just a few descriptions which the young and very gifted artist can be proud of.
Caroline Fischer received her first piano lessons from her mother when she was three years old. At the age of nine, she enrolled at the Julius Stern Institute for very gifted students at the University of Arts Berlin as a young student. At the early age of 16, she began her studies at the Academy of Music "Hanns Eisler" Berlin, Germany. Caroline studied also at the University of Music and Performing Arts Mannheim, Germany, the Geneva University of Music Switzerland with Prof. Devoyon and the Norwegian Academy of Music Oslo, Norway. She passed all of her final examinations with outstanding achievement: Diplom-Künstlerische Ausbildung (artistic studies), Diplom-Klavierpädagogin (piano teacher), Diplom-Solistische Ausbildung/Konzertexamen (concert exam) and diplôme de soliste. Currently she is studying chamber music and song interpretation for pianists at the University of Music and Performing Arts Mannheim, Germany. She participated in international masterclasses and received further artistic influence from Hanns Leygraf, Karl-Heinz Kämmerling, Bernard Ringeissen, Paul Badura-Skoda and Ferenc Rados.
Caroline Fischer has won 35 prizes and awards, including several first prizes, gold medals and public prizes in national and international competitions on many occasions, inter alia in the “Jugend musiziert” Competition on regional, state and national level, International Steinway Piano Competition Berlin, International Queen Sophie Charlotte Competition, International Competition for Young People Berlin, Köster Classic Preis in cooperation with Klassik Radio Hamburg, Lions Club Mannheim Quadrate Music Competition "Lions fördern junge Künstler" and in international piano competitions in the Czech Republic and in Munich. She was awarded with the Classic Superstar Award after a performance in the Konzerthaus Berlin.
Caroline is a scholar of the Gerda and Luigi Pradé Foundation, the Hans and Eugenia Jütting Foundation, the PE-Förderkreis, the Franz Grothe Foundation, the Gotthard Schierse Foundation, the Akademie der Künste Foundation Berlin, the Kölner Gymnasial- and Stiftungsfonds, the Ottilie Selbach Redslob Foundation, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, the Lutz - E. Adolf Foundation for very gifted students and Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now Berlin and has received a total of 16 scholarships.
Among the numerous concerts this artist has already given, both nationally and internationally, mention should be made of concerts with the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Korean Chamber Ensemble, the Philharmonic Orchestra Bad Reichenhall, the New Symphony Orchestra Berlin, the Berlin Symphony Orchestra, the Baden-Baden Philharmonic Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Geneva University of Music and the New Philharmonie Westphalia, benefit concerts in aid of children from Sarajevo and Kobe, German Heart Foundation Berlin, School for Life, concerts at festivals, inter alia at the International Steinway Piano Festival, the International Music Festival Berlin-Mirow, at the EXPO Hanover, the ANUGA Cologne, the Schleswig Holstein-Musikfestival, as well as several piano recitals in the Republic of Korea, Russia, Germany, Hungary, Belgium, Mongolia, Switzerland, Italy, China, Norway, Sweden and Austria. She has given concerts also in the Konzerthaus Berlin, Philharmonie Berlin, Seoul Arts Center in South Korea, Musikhalle Hamburg, Konzerthalle Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach Frankfurt (Oder), Gumho Art Hall Seoul, Beijing Forbidden City Concert Hall, Ruhrfestspielhaus Recklinghausen, Theater Wolfsburg, Wiener Konzerthaus.
Caroline Fischer gave concerts during the state visits of the former German Federal President Roman Herzog to the Republic of Korea and Mongolia and appeared on numerous occasions in "Bellevue" castle Berlin, which is the official residence of the German Federal President. She was playing a concert for Dr. Hannelore Kohl, who was awarded with the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany and also in the Konrad Adenauer Foundation Berlin for the new president Dr. Hans-Gert Pöttering former President of the European Parliament in presence of the Federal Chancellor Dr. Angela Merkel, Prof. Dr. Bernhard Vogel former Federal Prime Minister and Prof. Dr. Norbert Lammert president of the German Bundestag. Her Debut CD - Caroline Fischer piano was released in 2006 and her second CD "Lisztomagia" in 2009 on the Leipzig label Genuin and were both recorded in the Gewandhaus Leipzig.
Since 2008 she is the chairwoman of the Kultuclub Berlin e.V., www.kulturclub-berlin.de, which promotes the cultural dialog and understanding among nations and organizes several cultural events in Berlin.
